Panagiotis Korakas is the Director of the Isalos.net initiative. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in History from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Isalos.net was created in 2015, by the editorial team of Naftika Chronika magazine, and since then, has maintained an open and continuous dialogue between the new generation and the maritime industry. As head of the Isalos.net team, Mr Korakas has organised and coordinated a multitude of events, conferences and exhibitions that aim towards educating and informing students and young professionals all over Greece regarding the fundamentals of the maritime industry. Since 2021, he has also been the editor of a series of yearly historical editions of Naftika Chronika and has written over 200 articles (printed and online) regarding Greek maritime heritage. [...]

With over 36 years of experience ashore at managing wet and dry assets. Dimitris is the Managing Director of V.Ships Greece since 2024. Prior to this, he spent one year as Advisor to the MD of Greece. He held executive positions within the Groups of Onassis, Alafouzos (Kyklades) and Anna Angelicoussis (Alpha Bulkers). He was born and raised in Athens. Natassa Kouvertari holds the role of the Senior Lead – Human Competency within the Human Safety & Risk team of the Lloyd’s Register Maritime Decarbonisation Hub (The Decarb Hub), representing The Decarb Hub as the project manager in the “baseline training for seafarers in decarbonisation” project led by the Maritime Just Transition Taskforce, the first global sectoral task force dedicated to a just transition. Mr. Chrysostomou is a seasoned professional in the shipping industry. He holds an MBA (master’s in business administration) and he graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, with a Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding. Mr Chrysostomou has a long-standing career. He is currently the CSO of Tototheo Global and the Executive Director of the Clean Shipping Alliance (CSA).
