Maria is a Director in the Financial Services Assurance practice in PwC Greece, with more than 15 years of experience. Maria joined PwC Athens in 2008 and since then, she has assumed manager responsibilities on a number of large international clients, subsidiaries of international clients and family owned business reporting under IFRS and Greek GAAP. She has strong IFRS knowledge as she has been involved in statutory reporting audits, audits for international reporting, regulatory reporting audits, independent assessment of financial and non-financial data and other special-purpose assurance work as well as evaluation and validation of internal controls based on corporate policy.
