Dr. Eleftherios Pilalis holds a BSc in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry and an MSc in Bioinformatics and Genomics from Aix-Marseille University, France, as well as a PhD in Bioinformatics and Metabolic Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Biotechnology Lab, School of Chemical Engineering. Christos Fotis holds a PhD in AI & Bioinformatics for the analysis of multi-omics data from the National Technical University of Athens. He specializes in protein biomarker discovery, developing multi-omics computational pipelines, and designing new multiplex diagnostic products for early cancer detection. At Protavio, Christos leads the Commercial and Innovation departments, where he develops and manages several diagnostic projects, including two major Mission Cancer initiatives focused on creating early detection biomarker tests for colorectal and pancreatic cancers.
