Mr. Sotiris Fragoulis is a mechanical engineer and a certified Project Manager (IPMA). He received his Diploma from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1999. He then earned his M.Sc. at the Imperial College in 2000 and an MBA (Highest Honors) from the ALBA Business Graduate School in 2009. He has approximately 20 years of professional experience. In 2002 Mr. Sotiris Fragoulis started working for Exergia S.A., a specialized energy and environmental consultancy where he was assigned to the energy department. During his 4-year tenure he participated in various energy projects in the field of electricity and gas market liberalization, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, cogeneration etc. He also, prepared feasibility studies for energy projects on behalf of private and public investors and provided services to international institutions (The World Bank, the EC, the EBRD), state institutions (Ministry of Development, Regulatory Authority for Energy), and large companies of the private sector. In 2006 Mr. Sotiris Fragoulis joined EKO ABEE (Marketing branch of the Hellenic Petroleum Group) as an Operations and Safety Engineer at a LPG marketing plant which included daily operations, production and transportation optimization, development of maintenance schedules through SAP, drafting and introducing of HSE measures etc. Between 2008 and 2011 he worked as HSE Engineer where he coordinated multiple HSE programmes for 5 marketing plants and the entire retail network. Since 2011 he joined Hellenic Petroleum Renewable Energy Sources as a RES Engineer and has worked on dozens of RES projects either in the development or the construction / project management phase. He is currently Head of Technical and Asset Management of HELPE Renewables, responsible for the operation and performance of approximately 340MW portfolio of solar and wind projects
